Wow can you say slacker?????
I have not blogged in a lil bit! Summer is always busy but one of my favortie seasons is coming FALL!! So that means new crafts and blogs! I always love that time of year especially the colors. I just recently came back from Montana and I must say I can not wait to go back! I TOTALLY love it there! If my family were up there I would move in a heartbeat. I am withdrawling from being there, i love the little country towns and the air! So fresh and clean! Mmmmm....

Ooops sorry was daydreaming about being there... Not much else to say besided I love it there!

I pinky swear I will get back to blogging..(to all my many followers out there lol )

My D.I. Designs

SoI have been a huge fan of the D.I. lately. If you go and dive in a look around you can find some great stuff. Here are a few fab finds.

I got the cute clock, old books, and this awesome suit case!

And I made this way cute mail and key holder

It started out as just a wood shutter that said something like "Teddy Bear Time" and a porclein teddy was attached to it.

So I broke off teddy, painted it black, and added cute litte hooks for my keys... and this is it!!

And here is my new table center piece. It started as a chess board like this

I took the top chess part off and added little legs...

And got some gold candle holders and what look like mini wine glasses.

Well I painted the gold black and frosted the top of the mini glasses...

And TA-DA this is the result.
I thought it turned out nice :)

Another Weekend Find!

Ok well I had a nice 4 day weekend and I did a little shopping, Ok this may sound a little weird but I LOVE the dollar store they are starting to step up there game and get better stuff every now and again. I found these things at the dollar tree,

Brady was doing some painting for our landlord and she asked him if he wanted to take this chair she had in storage. He call and described it to me and I screamed YES ! So this is what he brought home to me! It is perfect!!! Good Job B!

Oh ya I wanted to show this to. This is the new bedding I got for Christmas, I love it! It looks really good with my bedroom furniture

My weekend finds

I wake up Saturday happy knowing that my check is has been deposited into my account so I get ready and I am out the door going to scavenge for crafts at a good deal. I went to Roberts and got a few misc. things i got some magnets that were on sale for a $0.99. And a few Christmas clearance stuff.

I hit hobby lobby ( big trouble) I could not help my self!

I found these wood things ( for lack of better words) but they are great cause a quick coat of spray paint and they ready to go. $1.99 each

Then I found these bag of feathers for $1.99 it does not get any better.

Then I stopped at Walmart for a quick stop for some things for the house and I found these. They are Christmas ornaments that were on clearance for $0.25. They made way cute magnets!

But did I stop there.... NOPE!

I was on my way home and I heard a little voice in my head saying.. "Provo Craft.. Provo Craft.."
And this is what I found. Oh ya and when I said it does not get any better well IT DID.

The little chipboard cut outs were $0.75! And the eggs were $0.90- i though they would be way cute with some scrapbook paper over them.

And these stars were like $0.35, $.045, and $0.90. And I spray painted them black and distressed the edges and these are them.

I found this birdcage for $7.00!

Last but not least this little bitty hammer it is perfect for my crafts from the dollar store. $1.00 of course.

Oh ya here are a few magnets I made from some of the stuff I found from that day. I almost forgot the flurdelise wood pieces I got all 4 for $1.99 at Hobby Lobby.

Ok so one day I was at work when Alyssa introduced my to this blog Shanty 2 Chic. And I fell in LOVE!!!! I wanted to do everything they had done. So I go to Hobby Lobby and get all my supplies. And off I was going to build me some apothacary jars! YEAH!!! So here is the finished product, I am pretty proud of how they turned out.

Oh ya and my new choice of drug is HOBBY LOBBY. I could walk around that store for hours and hours. I could even live there for the rest of my life. They have everything you could ever want and then some. And the best part of all most of the stuff I bought was on sale!!! AWWW I think I have died and gone to crafters heaven......

Halloween Fun!

So here are a few pictures of the fun stuff I have done over the past few fall weeks. :) I dressed up as a witch for Halloween, and me and Brady carved pumpkins, mine is a kitty and B's was Jack Skellington from Nightmare Before Christmas.

My mom, sisters, and I went to Wheeler Farm! I love that place I took so many pictures! It was fun. I wanted the clydesdale, everyone says that they are working horses and not really meant to be ridden, but if I could I would buy that kind of horse very first! I think they are so pretty.

So this horse was peeing, look at his face!!! Hilarious!!!

Well I have been stewing over this since last night. So Brady tells his dad that he has decided to go into the reserves because this is something that he wants to do. And it will allow him to become a police officer, which is something that Brady really wants to be. The reserves will give Brady money to join and will give him all the training and education he will need to go straight into being a cop. And Brady has been very excited about this whole thing, he is studying really hard to get his GED. Now it is a big surprise to see him doing this because he has said for the past year and a half that he wants to get his GED. SO that is how I know he is really passionate about doing this, because he has been at school for the past 2 weeks studying for the test. So his dad last night tells him that he does not think that is a good idea and that it is a big commitment, and he is not sure Brady has thought it through. I could tell when he got of the phone that his spirits were down. He has had me and a few other people tell him that we are extremely proud of him. Ok ok hold on I actually need to back up and start from the beginning......

Brady called his Dad to see what the plans were for the weekend, because Chuck wanted Brady to get a hunting permit and go hunting. Now I had no idea but you have to get a tag like 6 months in advanced. So Brady does, and he calls his dad to see what they were doing for the weekend, and to see if he could eat with them and just give them some money to cover, because funds for us are a little tight right now and I know it kills Brady to ask his dad for help. Well Chuck decides that Chris (Brady's step-mother) is way to over whelmed already because they are taking Brady's sister's kids camping to. And that would just be to much!!! Oh my I was so pissed!!!! I am sure Brady is not that big of a responsibility!!! I guess I am just spoiled because my parents always include me and Brady in everything. And Cindy ( Brady's mom) has done that to she will just include us when it comes to family things like that. I felt so bad for B here he is trying to go do things with his dad and he treats him like his is a big inconvenience. The more I see how Brady gets treated by his family makes me understand so much more why he is like he is. Brady is always saying that he feels more comfortable asking my family for help or anything. I just understand more and more when I see these things first hand, Brady really does care a lot for people, but he just doesn't know how to act when he gets it back some times.

Well I am very proud of him and love him a lot, my lil misunderstood B!! I always got yo back :)

Fall...

Ok well I first must admit that I am not the best blogger... I forget that I even have one sometimes. But here is a new one for you all.

I love the fall I think it is one of my most favorite seasons, I love the colors , the crisp air, and throwing on a hoodie when it gets a little chilly!!! I can bust out my hot chocolate and enjoy watching movies a little more.

I love to decorate and create things to decorate with.

I love Halloween!!! I LOVE LOVE decorating for it. Here is a new things I have put up/ done so

No I didn't make the witch but i love her!!! I did do the trick or treat, the candles, wreath, and picture frame. I love the "spooky cloth!" It was $3.00 and Walmart!! I almost died!

Ok so my mother-in-laws wedding went great!! There was a lot of people that came!!! My parents back yard looked besutiful and worked perfect for what we were wanting. It started out rocky because the wind was blowing so hard! And he had to tape all the table clothes down so the center pieces didn't exactly turn out like I wanted but oh well. Cindy looked pretty in her "party dress". Brady looked really hansome if i do say so my self. My and my mom were busy from start to finish but it was fun! I really enjoyed doing it! Here are some pics that Shay took. (she is pretty good!)

So I have not been able to write for a while because I have real busy with work and other things. So my mother-in-law is getting married to one of my families friends. I have know him for a good 9+ years his name is Marlin. They are good for eachother. And after just 3 weeks of knowing eachother they were engaged! So now I have been offically delcared her wedding planner! I am having fun but it is crazy she is wanting june 4th for her wedding day so we have tons to do! We have the centerpieces and decorations done. But there is a bunch of stuff she is wanting and not that much time to do it! And then on top of that it is mine and Brady's anniversary oh boy!! But i like doing the planning it is fun. I am maybe thinking of doing it for a job LOL. Weddings on a budget- by Brittney Simpson! That has a great ring to it! HA HAHA HA Well I will put some pics up of something. :)

We had this cat that was abandoned well we thought it was a boy but we were corrected when one day I realized that she was prego... So on Febuary 23rd they were born. 4 lil kitties! So now they are at that point where they can leave their mom and go to new homes. They are doing big kitty things now. The mom would like a new home too, we just took her in for the babies.

Easter Weekend

I had the best Easter weekend!!!! Well on Saturday I went out with my mom and sisters-shay and kenadie, and we went to a shoe party oh it was the best!!! All shoes were $10 and on top of that if you bought 3 you got 1 for free!!! Can you believe it!!!! I found some way cute and fun shoes, but my mom she got 7 new pairs of shoes!!! She looks really cute in all of them. We got a lot of the same styles... ( better pic coming soon.)

Then I went and did Easter shopping ( I know, I am such a procrastinator). But I found some
way cute stuff.I bought Brady a way cute Easter outfit...

And Muffins got a new bed and a cookie....

On Sunday we hung out and cleaned and did a little gardening, the weather was great!!!

Everyone seemed to love it especially muffins he was soaking up the sun.

Then we got ready and went up to my parents house for dinner, it was so good as usual thanks to my mom, she really does make the best food!!! It was fun my grandma and grandpa came up and we all ate dinner and dessert! It was such a good Easter weekend!

Well I guess I better start one now to since it is the new hip thing to do...

My name is Brittney and I am 20 years old and married to a great guy named Brady.
We have been married for almost 2 years on June 2nd. And I really am nice to him(mom!)! We live in Orem and love it. I work full time for Excel Eye Center and it is GREAT!

We have a little baby named tech (or muffins) he is 1 year old little yorkie. He is so cute and loves everyone and everything. He has a few best friends named chase, diesel, and tucker.
( I know what you are thinking, that this is pretty funny that i am talking this way about a dog but hey i love him.. )

I have great in-laws. Cindy is a character all in her own, but she is great and would do anything for her family.
Chuck and Chris are awesome too, I feel bad because we don't go see them all that much (brady's fault) lol. But they are awesome.

Then we get to my side of the fam... lol oh geez where do I start
The crying, the stress, the surgeries, work, money, being to sensitive... and that is just my DAD!!! LOL

My parents are the best that anyone could ask for! My dad and mom are one of my best friends.
I have 3 sister's and i love all of them more than i am sure they know. I love doing family activities, and I know Brady considers himself very lucky to have them as in-laws.
We have great times together!
